2026-2027 Tryouts

Dear Juventus Academy DC Metro Families,

We are excited to announce that registration for the 2026-2027 Tryouts is officially OPEN for all programs!

As we gear up for the upcoming season, we have a major update: Juventus Academy DC Metro has transitioned to PlayMetrics as our primary club management platform. This replaces our former system (Sports Connect) and will provide a modern experience for registration, team communication, and scheduling.

Academy Tryouts: Will begin the week of April 20th
Classic Tryouts: Will begin the week of May 11th

⚽ Which Program is Right for My Player?‍

All new and returning players must register for tryouts. It is highly recommended that players attend at least two, if not all, scheduled tryouts to allow for a proper evaluation.

Academy Program: Players who make the Academy team show the highest level of commitment to the sport. They demonstrate great technical and tactical ability and a desire to compete at the next level. Academy teams will compete in EDP travel leagues (SAM Select for Girls U10 and under). Games and tournaments may be played outside the state where travel is required. Tournaments may include some of the following: Pre-Fall, Labor Day, Post-Fall, Pre-Spring, MD President’s Cup, and Memorial Day.

🛠️ Your New PlayMetrics Account

Because we are moving to a brand-new system, all families must create a new PlayMetrics account. Your data will not automatically sync from Sports Connect.

Existing Accounts: If you already use PlayMetrics for another club, simply "Sign In" with your current credentials.
Register by Program: You will register for the "Academy" or "Classic" tryouts rather than a specific team. Our registration system will automatically place you into the appropriate tryout group based on the latest age group guidelines from US Soccer.
Complete the Registration: Follow the prompts through to the final "Confirmation" screen to ensure your player appears on the coaches' on-field check-in list.
