Why did you choose to become a coach?

Growing up, soccer was my first love. I attribute this primarily to the only head coach of my entire competitive career. Through his contagious passion for the game and his genuine care in each of his players, this coach instilled many values and habits in me that I still implement in my day-to-day life. To name just a few: show up and try to be better than I was the previous day; maintain a balance between hard work and fun; be accountable for my own actions and responsibilities; effectively communicate with teammates to reach shared goals. The list could go on and on.

Soccer is a beautiful game that provides a unique platform for kids to grow into the best version of themselves. I became a coach so I can pay it forward and help the next generation realize their potential both on and off the field.
